Happy Thursday, friends!

We wanted to write a post today on the basics, expectations, and fun plans ahead for Duluth Pack over some morning coffee with you all. Maybe you’re already at work, maybe you’re reading this though you phone screen in bed, or maybe you’re curled up on your couch. Either way, we wanted to catch up with you all and fill you in on plans and events to stay tuned for.

Summer is right around the corner and that means event are ahead. The ever anticipated and yearly event, Grandma’s Marathon is one we always look forward to. However, this year in August Tall Ships is once again sailing into the Duluth, MN Harbor, which is right where our retail location is in Canal Park. Tourists of all kinds enjoy the entertainment and we look so forward to seeing you all in our retail store as well to pick up your new Duluth Pack items.

While enjoying the hot and humid temperatures, you will want to cool off with a refreshing and cold brew. We recommend the recently launched Duluth Pack Pale Ale that is crafted by our friends at legendary brewery, The Duluth Brewhouse located in the Fitger’s complex.

Lastly, we have not only new apparel that will be hitting stores and our website soon, but new products , and new collaborations just on the horizon. Have any guesses what and who they might be with?

Have a fantastic weekend ahead, folks!

Happy Thursday, friends!

We’re excited to officially announce that we have launched two new products that all of you have been asking for sometime. Introducing the All Leather Safari Duffel and All Leather Traverse Crossbody Bag .

As our President, Tom Sega, says, “It’s about the people. They are what makes Duluth Pack happen every day.” It’s true, if it weren’t for all of you, we wouldn’t be where we are today. Duluth Pack is the oldest canvas and leather bag maker in the USA, and that is not a coincidence. It’s from handwork, loyalty, support, and consistency in quality and values. You are the reason Duluth Pack is what it is today and from that, we love listening to what new products you ask for and will ultimately purchase and use for your lifetime.

Thank you for your ideas and interest in new Duluth Pack developments and products. So, here’s to you all and enjoy the two new products that you requested and can finally purchase and use.

Wishing you all a tremendous weekend ahead!

The Duluth Pack Store Experience

September 18, 2012

In June of 1991, we opened our first “hole-in-the-wall” retail store in Duluth’s Canal Park, a revitalized warehouse district on the waterfront. Within a few years, we quickly expanded three times and finally built our 5000 square-foot flagship store a few doors down in April of 1998, which is where we are today.

Stopping by our retail store is not just about the shopping, it’s about the experience!  We have 2 levels packed full of merchandise and so much to see, smell, touch, and even taste.  Here is just a small sampling of some things you can expect to see when you visit……
